CBP planning $96M contract for integrated logistics
Customs and Border Protection has released an RFI as it starts work on a $96 million contract for integrated logistics.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency is kicking off a competition for its Integrated Logistics Support System contract.
CBP has issued a request for information to see what kind of commercial solutions exist that can meet the scale and scope it needs.
Deltek estimates its value of the contract at $96 million.
The contract will include system integration, training, deployment, and sustainment.
Currently, CBP does not have a single, enterprise-wide ILSS. It uses multiple systems throughout the agency, and individual program offices have their own systems. Currently, the agency cannot effectively inventory, maintain, and report its personal property and assets.
CBP released a request for information on available ILSS solutions April 23. Responses are due by May 11.
