The Transportation Department released draft solicitation for a six-year enterprise IT shared services contract.
The Transportation Department has released a draft solicitation for a six-year, $7 million enterprise IT shared services contract.
The "EITSS" indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract will aid DOT's Office of IT Shared Services in order to provide visibility and transparency into provider performance. It will also help in leading the alignment of services to support the ITSS’ vision, organizational structure, personnel skills, and mission requirements.
EITSS’ scope covers program management and integration support, end-user support, seat management and help desk services and infrastructure operations such as hosting, networking, and cybersecurity.
Task areas include project management, asset management, business relationship management, product and service catalog support, and process and integration support.
DOT’s Office of IT Shared Services is restructuring its contracting approach and moving towards a performance-based environment for all of DOT.
DOT released the request for proposals March 23. Responses are due by April 12.
