Air Force plans contract for improving business processes
The Air Force has released an RFP for a five-year contract for improving its business processes.
The Air Force released its solicitation for a five-year indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for Business Capability Lifecycle Management (B-CLM) projects.
The Air Force wants to adopt more efficient business and mission practices and performance measures. The department will use the multiple-award IDIQ for management support, business capability acquisition cycle projects, and systems engineering support.
The Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for Management and Deputy Chief Management Office is looking for more efficient and effective ways to support Air Force business operations and refine the development of Defense Business System requirements that support Business Mission Area IT.
Some of the requirements the Air Force wants to meet include:
- Technical and engineering
- Information and data management
- Process engineering
- Performance assessment
- Change management
- Project management
The Air Force released the solicitation March 9. Responses are due by April 25.
