FireEye names Craig Mueller as federal sales VP

FireEye has promoted Craig Mueller to the role of vice president of federal sales.

Mueller will be responsible for defining and executing FireEye's sales strategy in the federal market, including civilian, defense and intelligence agencies. He will report to Pat Sheridan, vice president of the U.S. public sector.

Mueller has more than 20 years of experience supporting federal and defense sales in telecommunications, networking and security.

He joined FireEye in 2014 after working at firms such as BMC Software, BladeLogic and Cisco.
