American Systems has booked a five-year, $68.6 million task order to help the Air Force install a new emergency mass notification system for use at all locations.
The Air Force awarded the order via the NETCENTS-2 contract vehicle’s network operations and infrastructure solutions track, American Systems said Tuesday.
Chantilly, Va.-based American Systems will develop and implement the cloud-based system to alert Air Force personnel and their families when emergencies occur. The system will use the Blackberry Crisis Communications Software Suite to be run on an Amazon Web Services cloud system.
