Deadline extended for Federal 100 nominations!

It's FCW's gift to procrastinators: You have 10 extra days to finish up and submit your Fed 100 nominations.

The new deadline is Noon ET on Wednesday, Jan. 3. And this one is non-negotiable -- by Wednesday evening, we will be shipping the nominations to our judges so they can get started on what always amounts to several hundred pages of reading.

So if you have a nomination that's waiting on that one last bit of information -- or if you wanted to nominate someone but feared there wasn't enough time -- you now have two extra weeks. Get moving!

Remember, all nominations must be made online -- you can find all the details at FCW.com/2018fed100.

And here's one last recap of what it takes to make the Federal 100:

1. Anyone in the federal IT community is eligible.
2. The award is for individual accomplishments in 2017.
3. Federal 100 winners go above and beyond -- whatever their level or rank. A fancy job title is not required, and just doing one's job well is not enough.
4. Impact matters. The judges need to know not only what a nominee did, but also what all that work accomplished.
