DISA details $96M IT IDIQ award schedule
DISA details its intended timeline to award a five-year, $95.8 million contract for IT services outside the continental U.S.
The Defense Information Systems Agency expects to award a new five-year, $95.8 million IT systems solutions contract in the first quarter of 2018.
The agency anticipates it will issue in November a formal request for proposals for its single-award Outside the Continental United States Information Technology Solutions contract. If the timeframe continues as expected, proposals will be due in December, DISA said in a Nov. 13 FedBizOpps notice.
DISA released its draft RFP for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract on Nov. 15. Responses are due by Dec. 4.
DISA plans to streamline its delivery of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance IT. Other areas involve audio-visual, electronic security system and emergency management system solutions to warfighters at shore installations in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
U.S. European Command and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic European want to keep pace with how they adjust to the rapidly changing environment across the world. In doing so, officials are seeking cost-effective and innovation system solutions to respond to routine, developing and evolving challenges of the warfighter in these regions.
