Digital government guru Godbout moves to TechFlow

Greg Godbout, a co-founder of the GSA 18F unit and former CTO at the EPA, is taking his passion for government reinvention to a new venue.
One of the architects of the digital government movement is sticking with his passion to reinvent government but this time at a new company.
Greg Godbout, co-founder of the GSA 18F unit and later chief technology officer at the Environmental Protection Agency, has left his position at cBrain to become chief digital officer at TechFlow. TechFlow is an agile development company that helps organizations modernize their business systems.
Godbout will work with government agencies at TechFlow as they take on digital transformation and modernization efforts.
In an email to colleagues, Godbout said he had worked with TechFlow for the last six months before deciding to join the company. “I have found their team to be deeply knowledgeable, efficiently practical and highly innovative,” he wrote.
He also will continue to be connected to cBrain North America and will serve as chairman of their board. CBrain is a Danish company that brings a specific model for digital government to the market. “There is much we can learn from the Danish model and their successes with Digital Government,” Godbout wrote.
During his time in government and in the private sector, Godbout has earned a reputation as a change agent. His leadership has earned him a Fed 100 award from Washington Technology sister publication FCW and a Fedscoop 50 from competitor Fedscoop Media.
