Army cyber center looks for contractor support

The Army is developing a cyber center of excellence as a tool to manage rapids changes in the IT related to cyber, signal intelligence and IT equipment and training.
The military branch is looking for IT services and support from the contracting community for this effort.
In a new source sought notice, the Army wants the services and support for enhancement, maintenance and security of the Cyber Center of Excellence G6’s Network, Enterprise Level Solutions classifications. The G6 intends to design, maintain, and secure IT solutions for the Cyber Center of Excellence.
The contract’s objectives are to enforce the cybersecurity policies, provide a consolidated helpdesk for all divisions, and develop the center’s IT policies and plans.
The Army released the notice Aug. 7. Responses are due by Aug. 14.
