SAIC wins $72.8M contract to support Army HR command
Science Applications International Corp. has won a $72.8 million contract to support the Army Human Resources Command and soldier career pay and benefits.
Science Applications International Corp. has won a $72.8 million contract to support the Army Human Resources Command and soldier career pay and benefits.
The mission of the Army Human Resources Command is to execute strategic talent management, personnel programs and services in order to optimize force readiness and strengthen an agile and adaptive Army, according to its website.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide enterprise-wide systems sustainment, management, enhancement, development and integration services for the lifecycle administration, management and deployment functions of the Army Human Resources Command.
The services will also support the career pay and benefits of all active duty, reserve, guard, retired, and other Army soldiers, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed at Fort Knox, Ky., and is expected to be completed in February 2018.
SAIC was the only bidder, the Defense Department said.
