Telephonics Corp. has won a $9.3 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

Telephonics Corp. has won a $9.3 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

Under the contract, the company will provide engineering and technical services in support of the Aircraft Division’s Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Division.

The division is responsible for acquisition and life cycle support for systems that provide air traffic control capability at Navy and Marine Corps Air Stations, aboard CV and LH class ships, at Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facilities, and at Marine Corps Expeditionary Air Traffic Control Detachments, according to the NAVAIR website.

Services to be provided under the contract include establishing and maintaining a comprehensive program to provide hardware systems development, maintenance, training, and repair services, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Farmingdale, N.Y., and St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in January 2022.
