ManTech awarded $11.2M option to support Navy ship maintenance program
ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. has been awarded an $11.2 million option to continue its support of the Navy’s Ship Maintenance and Logistics Information Systems (SMLIS) program.
ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. has been awarded an $11.2 million option to continue its support of the Navy’s Ship Maintenance and Logistics Information Systems (SMLIS) program.
The SMLIS program supports U.S. Navy shore-based maintenance and logistics information technology systems that used to support a wide variety of business processes at the naval shipyards, regional maintenance facilities, ship repair facilities, and NAVSEA headquarters, according to a FedBizOpps notice.
Under the option, ManTech will provide systems operation, sustainment and support services.
These services will include engineering support in the areas of IT lifecycle planning, operations and sustainment, documentation, program management, application technical refresh, testing, training and deployment, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., Rocket Center, W.V., San Diego, Calif., Mechanicsburg, Penn., Washington, D.C., Kittery, Maine, Fairfield, Calif., Hoover, Ala., New Orleans, La., and Richmond, Va., and is expected to be completed in April 2017.
