Hanover, Md.-based Enlighten IT was founded in 2007 and provides secure cloud engineering, analytics and big data solutions to the defense and intelligence communities.
The company also developed the Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework, which deploys within minutes and eliminates hardware, power, space and sustainability requirements and utilizes Amazon Web Services, MacB said in a release.
Enlighten IT also provides network operations monitoring, cyber threat detection and mitigation and insider threat identification across a number of Defense Department datasets.
This is MacB’s third acquisition in four years; the company acquired Secure Computing and Communications in 2013 and Commonwealth Technology in 2014.
Enlighten IT won a GovCon award in November 2016 at the 2016 Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.
