Logistics Management Institute president and chief executive officer Nelson Ford is stepping down from his role in Spring 2017.

Logistics Management Institute president and chief executive officer Nelson Ford is stepping down from his role in Spring 2017.

Though the Spring 2017 timeframe is in play for his retirement, Ford will continue to serve until a new CEO is found, the company said in a release. The company expects to consider both internal and external candidates for the position.

Ford has been president and CEO of LMI since 2009. He was formerly the undersecretary of the Army.
