BAE Systems wins $49M contract to help safeguard info sharing

BAE Systems has won a $49 million contract to help safeguard the sharing of sensitive information between government networks.

The contract, awarded by the Air Force Research Laboratory, will last five years.

Under the contract, BAE Systems will develop, deploy and maintain cross-domain solutions for information sharing protection.

The technologies developed under this contract will benefit the intelligence community, the Defense Department and other agencies.

The solutions will enable the secure exchange of messages, images, and streaming video and audio data to enhance mission collaboration, BAE said in a release.
