Amyx tops seven companies to win $189.3M OASIS task order

Amyx Inc. has won a $189.3 million OASIS task order to provide the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) with mission support services. The company’s initial award is $4.2 million.

The task order was awarded under the General Services Administration’s OASIS Small Business Pool 1 contract, and according to the Defense Department, Amyx beat out seven other companies.

Amyx, a Reston, Va., company that provides enterprise technology services, has won two task orders under OASIS to date since fiscal 2014, according to the OASIS Dashboard.

The company also provides systems engineering and technical assistance, financial support services, cybersecurity and information assurance, program and acquisition management and business process transformation.

Services under the task order include systems engineering and technical assistance; acquisition and program management; operations support; mission-based research and analytical assistance and other support services, the Defense Department said.

The task order provides a component for JIDO’s mission to enable Defense Department actions to counter improvised threats by supporting combatant commands’ efforts to prepare for unanticipated occurrences on the battlefield.

The company did not respond to a request for more information on the win.

Work will be performed in Virginia and in the National Capital Region. The contract runs through Jan. 17, 2022.
