Metron Inc. has won a $12.8 million contract to develop a counter-intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance planning system for the Navy.

Metron Inc. has won a $12.8 million contract to develop a counter-intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance planning system for the Navy.

The performance-based, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a $7.2 million base value.

The C-ISR planning system will be designed to defeat enemy ISR networks through planning of coordinated friendly force movement emissions control as well as denial and deception operations, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Reston, Va., and is expected to be completed in May 2018.
