Booz Allen Hamilton taps former FBI director to review security, personnel, management processes
Booz Allen Hamilton has asked former Federal Bureau of Investigations director Robert Mueller to conduct an external review of the company’s security, personnel and management processes and practices.
Booz Allen Hamilton has asked former Federal Bureau of Investigations director Robert Mueller to conduct an external review of the company’s security, personnel and management processes and practices.
This action comes weeks after Harold Martin, a Booz Allen Hamilton employee working with the National Security Agency, was arrested for breaching national security and obtaining large amounts of confidential information.
Mueller’s review began on Oct. 19.
In a statement, Booz Allen said that they have tapped Mueller because the company is “determined to learn from this incident and look more broadly at our processes and practices.”
“This external review is the right thing to do: We are an organization that prides itself on constant learning. If there are areas where Booz Allen can improve, we will address them,” the company said.
