Pro-Active Technologies wins $45M to support Navy training

Pro-Active Technologies Inc. has won a $45 million contract to develop solutions for a training system for the Navy.

Pro-Active Technologies Inc. has won a $45 million contract to develop solutions for a training system for the Navy.

The system, called the Multi-Purpose Reconfigurable Training System, provides a virtual training environment simulating a variety of shipboards, according to the NAVAIR website.

Under the contract, Pro-Active Technologies will develop and sustain training solutions for the system.

Work will be performed in Oviedo, Fla., and is expected to be completed in February 2020.

According to the Defense Department, this was a small business set aside contract. Three other companies bid to win the contract.
