CACI International has won a $38.5 task order to provide rapid prototyping and technology insertion support to the U.S. Army.

The task order was awarded under a rapid prototyping and technology insertion contract that CACI won in 2012, the company said in a release.
Work under this task order will support the Army Communications-Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center, which works to advance soldier capabilities to enable situational awareness and understanding, establish secure communications, and protect them from attack, CACI said.
Under the task order, the company will provide rapid prototyping and technology insertion engineering, development and analysis support, including architecture development and integration.
