Find opportunities — and win them.

Rolls-Royce has picked AIA leader Marion Blakey to serve as the president and CEO of its North American operations.

Marion Blakey, who has been leading the Aerospace Industries Association for the last eight years, has been named president and CEO of Rolls-Royce North America.

She’ll also be chairman of the board of directors for the North American branch of the British company. Blakey will replace James Guyette, who retires in May.

In addition to her work at AIA, she also was administrator of the FAA and chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board.

Rolls-Royce North America is based in Reston, Va., and has 7,000 employees.
