Lockheed gets $7M missile software deal
Lockheed Martin has won a sole-source contract to enhance the software package for the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile.
Lockheed Martin Corp. won a $7 million sole source contract to enhance the software package for the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile.
The software package is part of the JASSM enterprise management system. The contract runs through Sept. 14, 2015.
Lockheed will work on issues such as workflow management, local source data cataloging, weaponeering data sheet automation, product status reporting and continuity of operations.
Support items include program management, software engineering, logistics, testing, information assurance and other software upgrades.
Most of the work will take place at King of Prussia, Pa., where a large contingent of Lockheed Martin’s Systems & Global Solutions business is based.
