Noblis makes intell deal for National Security Partners

Noblis Inc. has acquired National Security Partners, an intelligence contractor built through a series of acquisitions of its own in recent years.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

National Security Partners was built primarily through the acquisitions of Point One and Summit Solutions in 2011 and LMN Solutions in 2012. The rollup of those companies brought together a variety of solutions and products focused on the intelligence community.

These solutions include strategic consulting, technology development and mission execution programs, particularly around cyber intelligence.

Noblis officials said the acquisition complements the company’s work on data analytics, identity intelligence, overhead and airborne ISR, and agile development of law enforcement IT systems.

“Tackling today’s complex national security challenges demands that we marshal the best of our skills across diverse domains and this new team is poised to help address those toughest problems,” said L. Roger Mason Jr., senior vice president, national security and intelligence for Noblis.

Making the move with the acquisition includes National Security Partners CEO Leslee Belluchie, who with her husband Rick Knop, founded the company. Belluchie is well-versed in transitioning companies in an M&A transaction. She was an executive with SI International when it was an acquired by Serco.

National Security Partners will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Noblis, reporting to Mason.
