Lockheed Martin has won a $11.3 million contract to support retrofit programs for the MH-60 helicopter.
The company will work on production kits for the point and click operator system interface and Link-16 retrofit, which are cockpit controls in the helicopter. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis because Lockheed Martin is the only manufacturer of the MH-60 cockpit assembly.
More than half of the work will be done in Owego, N.Y., with other work being done in Farmingdale, N.Y., Everett, Wash., Austin, Texas, and Butler, N.J.
The contract runs through August 2017.
Lockheed Martin is ranked No. 1 on the 2014 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
