Intersil Corp. taps new VP of product development

Intersil Corp. has named Diwakar Vishakhadatta vice president of Product Development, where he will focus on the company’s strategy and expand resource and development resources.

Vishakhadatta was most recently vice president and general manager at Silicon Labs. Before that, he worked as vice president at ST-Ericsson.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree from Oregon State University.
