QinetiQ North America has won a $16 million contract to provide engineering, technical, programmatic and financial support services for the Office of Naval Research’s Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare and Combating Terrorism Department.
The Office of Naval Research coordinates, executes and promotes science and technology programs for the Navy and Marine Corps.
The win, for QinetiQ, is a strategic one, according to Dave Shum, general manager of the company’s Defense Solutions business unit.
“It builds on the long track record of success we’ve had supporting our customers at ONR over the past 20 years, and we are excited to support Code 30 in advancing the state of science and technology to help the warfighter fight, win and survive in the battlefield of the future,” Shum said.
