Former Boeing exec tapped as MAT president
McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) announced today that former Boeing executive and retired Major Gen. Charles W. Fletcher Jr. will be assuming the role of company president.
McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) announced today that retired Major Gen. Charles W. Fletcher Jr. will be assuming the role of company president.
Fletcher will bring nearly four decades of military and commercial logistics experience to bear on MAT, the company said in a news release.
Prior to joining MAT, Fletcher worked in logistics at Boeing and held a senior vice president position at Alion Science and Technology. His 30-year Army career culminated with a director position at the U.S. Transportation Command.
Fletcher holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, earned a Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and received a Master of Arts in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University.
Drayton McLane Jr. will remain the CEO of MAT, the company’s news release said.
The Temple, Texas-based company provides IT and logistics support to government clients, and holds a basic ordering agreement under the Army Sustainment Command’s $23.5 billion EAGLE contract vehicle.
