Mori Associates captures $200M JPL contract

Find opportunities — and win them.

Small business wins $200 million contract to support the Jet Propulsion Laboratory with engineering, networking and IT support.

Mori Associates has won a $200 million small business contract to provide the Jet Propulsion Laboratory with IT support services.

The IT Infrastructure Support and Services contract, or I2S2, covers a variety of services including engineering design support, institutional network operations, enterprise information systems development and operations, telecommunications and computer maintenance.

The win expands Mori’s reach into in-depth cyber security and cloud services, the company said.

“We recognize JPL looks for innovative and creative solutions using the latest in technology and industry best practices to apply to its own operations,” said Shana Deldjoubar, Mori president and CEO, in a statement.

According to information from the Deltek data base, I2S2 is a follow-on contract to the Institutional Services and Support, which was held by Computer Sciences Corp.

When it came time to recompete, JPL converted it to a small business contract.

The contract has a base period of three years, with options that can extend it up to 10 years.
