HP wins $180M contract to enhance Ohio’s Medicaid system
HP Enterprise Services has won a $180 million to continue to manage and enhance the Ohio Medicaid Information Technology System and transform the hardware that it runs on.
HP Enterprise Services has won a $180 million to continue to manage and enhance the Ohio Medicaid Information Technology System and transform the hardware that it runs on.
Under the contract, HP will ensure that the Medicaid system is flexible, scalable and stable. The company will also support federal policy changes, including the Affordable Care Act and state requirements, the company said in a release.
In addition to supporting the Medicaid system, HP Enterprise Services will provide applications development and management services to help improve Ohio’s ability to handle growth in recipients and claims with accuracy, timeliness and uninterrupted service by adding integrated eligibility, the company said.
The company just won a contract in November to serve as Medicaid fiscal agent for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
