Exelis wins $8M contract to provide radars to Estonia
Exelis has won an $8 million contract to provide a transportable, precision ground control approach capabilities to the Estonian armed forces.
The GCA-2020 radar provides air navigation services that are required to meet NATO flight safety standards, and will give Estonia global compatibility and standardization with NATO systems operating at 11 sites across Europe, the company said in a release.
Exelis has won an $8 million contract to provide a transportable, precision ground control approach capabilities to the Estonian armed forces.
The GCA-2020 radar system will let the Estonia Amari Air base support NATO exercises, contingencies and humanitarian efforts.
