Metronome taps new VP of business development

Metronome LLC has named Cesar Moreira vice president of business development, where he will spearhead strategic marketing and business development with intelligence and defense customers.

Moreira comes to Metronome having served in roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and Lockheed Martin.

He joins the company at a time of growth; Metronome has grown to 60 employees since 2011. In 2013, it grew 700 percent, the company said in a release.

Founded in May 2011 by Jennifer and Virgil Virga in an Ashburn basement, Metronome LLC is a women-owned small business that specializes in IT and intelligence services for federal customers, the company said in a release.
