Booz, CACI battle over Army task order

Find opportunities — and win them.

Booz Allen Hamilton is protesting a task order awarded to CACI International to support the Army's Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate.

Booz Allen Hamilton has filed a bid protest over a task order it lost to CACI International.

Details are sparse, but CACI won a task order to provide engineering, hardware and software installation, telecommunications, training and logistics support to the Army’s Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate.

The value of the contract could not be determined, and neither company is commenting on the protest.

The directorate conducts research and evaluates communications and networking technologies. Its goal is to bring new technologies to the warfighter.

Booz Allen filed its protest on Nov. 5 with the Government Accountability Office. A decision is expected by Feb. 13.
