ICF wins $72M contract for HHS grants management program

ICF International has won a $72 million recompete contract with Health and Human Services to support the Electronic Research Administration grants management program.

The company will support the administration’s services to the National Institutes of Health’s institutes and centers, in addition to other HHS agencies and operating divisions that fund outside research, with onsite customer-focused service, the company said in a release.

Under the five-year contract, ICF International will provide configuration management services, information technology architecture support, business and requirements analysis, functional and performance testing, software design and development support and documentation and training support.

These services will ensure that the Electronic Research Administration is able to maintain and continually improve its enterprise, ICF said.

The grants system, known as eRA, processes more than 128,000 applications per year and administer more than 60,000 research and non-research grants totaling more than $30 billion annually. eRA is used by more than 170,000 federal staff and applicants at more than 24,000 institutions worldwide, according to ICF.
