CSC wins $41M option to support Naval education, training center

Computer Sciences Corp. has won a $41 million option with the Navy to provide IT support services for the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center.

Computer Sciences Corp. has won a $41 million option with the U.S. Navy to provide information technology support services for the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center.

The mission of the center is to provide the Navy with products and services to support and enhance education, training, career development and personnel advancement, according to the Naval Education and Training Command's website.

Work will be performed in Pensacola, Fla., Norfolk, Va., Great Lakes, Ill, San Diego, Calif., and other locations within the United States, and is expected to be completed by September 2015.

No funding is obligated at the time of the award.
