Cloudburst takes on IT security at U.S. Mint

Cloudburst Security has won a $6 million contract with the U.S. Mint to provide information technology security services.

Cloudburst is a women-owned small business that specializes in network protection and infrastructure.

Under the contract, Cloudburst will provide incident response, security testing, penetration testing, security engineering.

The company is partnering with Knowledge Consulting Group on the project.

The company will also provide security auditing and compliance activities to address mission and IT security requirements; reduce IT security incidents; support mission initiatives in accordance with standards and regulations; and maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems and data, Cloudburst said in a release.
