Salient Federal Solutions has won a contract to provide software engineering services, operations and maintenance to the Federal Election Commission.

Salient Federal Solutions has won a $5.7 million contract to provide software engineering services, operations and maintenance to the Federal Election Commission.

The contract has a six-month base and four option years.

Under the contract, Salient Federal will provide engineering services, operations and maintenance for the commission’s Electronic Filing System.

The filing system enables filers to record and track information required for reporting to the commission, and to securely submit this data electronically, the company said in a release.

The system allows the commission to review statements and financial reports filed by political committees participating in federal elections, provide assistance and guidance on filing, and ensures compliance, Salient said.
