HP creates HAVEn big data platform from several acquisitions
HP has combined the technologies that it's picked up through its acquisitions to provide a big data offering called HAVEn.
HP has launched a big data platform in a move to bundle together its analytics software, hardware and services into one package, ZDNet reported.
The platform, called HAVEn, maximizes on the acquisitions that the company has made over the past few years, taking technology from HP Autonomy, Vertica, ArcSight and Operations Management, and combining it with Hadoop, ZDNet reported.
