Serco, Virginia complete negotiations for $355M contract
Serco and Virginia have completed final negotiations for a $355 million contract that has Serco operating Virginia's transportation operation centers and safety service patrol.
Serco Inc. and Virginia’s Transportation Department have completed final negotiations on a $355 million contract under which Serco will integrate and operate the department’s transportation operation centers and manage its Safety Service Patrol.
The company will also develop and implement a statewide advanced traffic management system.
Serco announced the potential contract last week, but at the time, final negotiations had yet to be completed.
