L-3 wins $24.9M Navy contract for technical services

L-3 Communications has won a contract to provide the Navy with engineering and technical services in support of systems and communications equipment for the Coast Guard.

L-3 Communications has won a $24.9 million task order, performance-based contract with the U.S. Navy to provide engineering and technical services in support of L-3 proprietary systems and communications equipment for the Coast Guard.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a base of $8 million and contains provisions for firm-fixed-price orders.

Work will be performed in Camden, N.J., Alameda, Calif., Charleston, S.C., and Petaluma, Calif., and will be completed by May 2014, or by May 2016 with options.

Funds in the amount of $25,000 were obligated at the time of the award, and will expire at the end of fiscal 2013.
