DHS releases $100M ID management RFP
Get your proposals ready. DHS has set a July 1 deadline for a 10-year, $100 million contract for identity management products and services to implement HSPD-12.
The Homeland Security Department has set the clocking ticking on a $100 million contract to provide identity management products and services to the agency.
The request for proposals sets a deadline of July 1 for the 10-year contract being let through the DHS Office of the Chief Security Officer. The contract has a $99.5 million ceiling.
The department has a requirement for an identity management system to continue the implementation of Homeland Security Presidential Directive – 12 and meet the needs of the department, according to the FedBizOpps website. More information can be found here.
Known as HSPD-12, the directive sets the standard for identity cards and systems used by agencies to give employees and contractors access to computer networks and facilities across the country.
