DynCorp wins $48.6M task to support Haitian police

DynCorp International has won a $48.6 million task order with the State Department to support the U.S. contingent to U.N. Police in Haiti.

The task order has a one-year base and three option years.

This task order was awarded by the State Department Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs under the Criminal Justice Program Support Contract.

Under the contract, DynCorp will recruit and support up to 100 U.N. Police officers and 10 U.N. corrections advisors, provide logistics support to the Haitian National Police Academy, and provide five high-level French and Haitian Creole speaking subject matter experts to advise senior officials, the company said in a release.

The company also said that it has supported the Haitian National Police since 2008 under the Haitian Stabilization Initiative task order under the State Department’s Civilian Police contract.
