SRA International wins $29M IT development contract
SRA International has won a contract with the Air Force to develop IT-related capabilities for the service's air logistics centers.
SRA International has won a five-year, $29 million contract to develop information technology-related capabilities for four of the Air Forces logistics centers.
The air logistics centers are located at Robins Air Force Base, Hill Air Force Base, Tinker Air Force Base and the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group.
SRA International will develop and integrate automatic data capture solutions and capabilities to improve aircraft availability through the integration of devices that can be read by a machine that can efficiently capture, aggregate and transfer data, SRA said in a relase.
These developments are related to the Automated Identification Technology and Maintenance Operation Control Visualizer, which provides the Air Force with the ability to give real-time asset status and location information to aircraft personnel and other stakeholders in the mission, the company said.
