ICF names new leader in energy group
ICF International names Seth Hulkower senior vice president in its energy, environment and transportation group, where he will be responsible for leading the company's expansion in the distribution area
ICF International has named Seth Hulkower senior vice president in its energy, environment and transportation group, where he will lead the design and implementation of ICF’s expansion into the distribution arena for electric operations, customer operations and business process outsourcing.
The company plans on expanding in the distribution arena for electric operations, customer operations and business process outsourcing.
Hulkower has more than 25 years in experience in electric utility operations and management, project development, power pool operations, power contract negotiations, utility regulation and power plant design and construction.
Hulkower was recently president of Strategic Energy Advisors, a privately held consulting firm focused on the regulatory and technology challenges that businesses face in an evolving energy market, ICF said.
Before Strategic Energy Advisors, Hulkower worked as chief operating officer of Long Island Power Authority from 1996 to 2007.
He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and has been a board member of the Electric Power Research Institute and a member of the Large Public Power council steering committee, the company said.
Hulkower holds a master’s degree in technology and policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., and two bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and in economics from Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
