Five Top 100 win $489M contract to manage chemical weapons

Group of contractors will assit the Chemical Materials Agency with its stockpile of weapons.
Five companies will vie for task orders under a $489 million contract to help manage chemical weapons.
The companies will support the Chemical Materials Agency and the Program Executive Office Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives.
The winners are:
- Booz Allen Hamilton
- Science Applications International Corp.
- Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure
- Teledyne Brown Engineering
- TetraTech NUS Inc.
Some of the requirements that need to be supported include chemical stockpile elimination, stockpile storage and the non-stockpile chemical material program.
The contract was awarded by the Army Contracting Command at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.
