NVTC’s Kilberg joins UVA Board of Visitors
Technology council’s president and CEO is one of six new appointees selected by the Virginia governor.
NVTC is the largest technology council in the nation with about 1,000 member companies employing 200,000 people in the D.C. metro region.
Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell has named Northern Virginia Technology Council President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg to the University of Virginia Board of Visitors.
Kilberg is one of six new appointees selected by McDonnell following the highly publicized firing and then rehiring of UVA President Teresa Sullivan last month.
The other five appointees are Rector Helen Dragas, who precipitated the flap by firing Sullivan; Johns Hopkins Medical CEO Edward Miller, outgoing James Madison University President Linwood Rose, Gannett CFO and UVA Alumni Association Chair Victoria Harker, and McGuire Woods Consulting Chairman Frank Atkinson.
