Call for Fast 50 nominations

Nominations are now open for the 2012 Washington Technology Fast 50.

Any small business in the government market can nominate itself. To be considered, companies need to submit five years of government contracting revenue data, which will be used to calculate their compound annual growth rate. Companies are ranked by their growth rate, not by their overall revenue.

The revenue figures submitted will be published as part of the Fast 50 print and online. For an example, see the 2011 Fast 50.

The 2012 Fast 50 will look at revenue growth from 2007 through 2011. Companies must have at least $100,000 in government revenue in 2007 to be eligible.

Other requirements include meeting one of the various government criteria for being a small business or being in the 8(a) program or being a service-disabled, veteran-owned company. If you are unsure, visit the Small Business Administration webpage.
