Noblis acquires government tech-acquisition adviser

Noblis Inc., a nonprofit provider of science, technology, and strategy services, has acquired ElanTech Systems Inc., a program management and acquisition services provider to the intelligence community.

Financial terms of the deal were not reported in the April 13 announcement.

The wholly owned subsidiary of Noblis will continue to operate as ElanTech Systems. The company supports government acquisition program offices with in the technical aspects of studies, prototypes and acquisition efforts.

“This acquisition strengthens our ability to innovate and increases the value we deliver in support of our national security mission on command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) projects,” Drew Cohen, Noblis vice president of national security and intelligence, said in the announcement.

“The complementary strengths of our two companies, our expanded portfolio and broader knowledge base will enable us to capitalize on emerging technology trends and bring innovative new capabilities to our clients,” said Vernon Ingram, president of ElanTech Systems.

Ingram, a retired Navy pilot, was named president of the Chantilly, Va., company last month.
