SAIC taps former Unisys exec for business unit post

Linda Howard most recently served as vice president of operations for the Unisys Corp.'s Federal Government Group.

Linda Howard has been named senior vice president and deputy business unit general manager for Science Applications International Corp.’s Homeland and Civilian Solutions Business Unit.

She will be responsible for various operational aspects of the unit, including development and execution of the strategic plan, customer satisfaction and program execution, according to the company’s March 29 announcement.

Howard most recently served as vice president of operations for the Unisys Corp.'s Federal Government Group.

Previously, she was a delivery partner for the Homeland Security Department supporting Customs and Immigration Enforcement and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Prior to Unisys, Howard held executive positions at Identix Inc. and Electronic Data Systems.

Howard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Wyoming.
