SAIC hire beefs up mission support unit
Mary Craft brings more than 25 years of intelligence community expertise to her new position.
Science Applications International Corp. has hired Mary Craft to serve as deputy business unit general manager of the company's Mission Support Business Unit, effective March 12.
Led by General Manager Larry Hill, the unit’s capabilities include geospatial intelligence and production services, intelligence analysis and operation support fused with technical expertise, field operation tradecraft, and full spectrum analytical and mission support.
The unit also includes language services and translation capabilities, education and training support, according to a March 7 SAIC announcement.
With more than 25 years of industry and business leadership experience in the intelligence sector, Craft most recently served as a senior vice president at QinetiQ North America, supporting the Defense Department and intelligence community markets.
She also previously served as a vice president at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, where she performed strategic planning and new business development for the Surveillance and Reconnaissance and the Intelligence Engineering business units. Prior to that, she was a program manager at Raytheon Systems.
Craft holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University and an MBA from The George Washington University.
