Teradata unit captures analytics work with Defense Commissary

A division of Teradata, maker of database software, enterprise data warehousing, data warehouse appliances, and analytics products, has won a $16.8 contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to support the Defense Commissary Agency, according to an award notice posted Dec. 20. by the General Services Administration.

The $16.8 million contract was won by Claraview, a Reston, Va.-based division of Teradata. The contract has a five-month base and four 12-month option periods.

Claraview, specializing in business intelligence and data warehousing, will provide data management, enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence services to the Defense Commissary Agency.
